Ghasem

He is an associate professor of chemical engineering at United Arab Emirates University, where he teaches chemical process principles and chemical reaction engineering as undergraduate courses along with other courses in chemical engineering. Previously, he taught these courses at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has published primarily in the areas of modeling and stimulation, bifurcation theory, polymer reaction engineering, and advanced control of polyethylene and polystyrene polymerization processes. He has also authored Simulation of Unit Operations with HYSYS, published by University of Malaya Press. Dr. Ghasem is a member and ambassador of the University of Chemical Engineers and a member of the American Chemical Society.
